Words to Ponder

Quotes from the book L.I.F.E.

I am a regular reader of books, starting each day with my quiet reading time. This week I have been reading the new book by Chris Brady and Orrin Woodward entitled "L.I.F.E." They are NY Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling authors focusing primarily on business and leadership topics.

This book is filled with many quotes that caused me to ponder. For this blog I will include ten of them you each of you to ponder as well:

"In life, most people surrender what is possible for what is comfortable."

"Many times in life, those who do the most correcting, need the most correcting."

"Never complain about what you permit to be."

"Anyone claiming to be a leader should be judged by his scoreboard and not by his self-proclamations."

"Winners hate losing more than changing while others hate changing more than losing."

"Few things feel as good as trying your absolute hardest at something worthy."

"Many lose through never starting. A job well begun is half done."

"Leaders always choose the harder right rather than the easier wrong."

"Success is on the other side of your comfort zone."

"You can tell the size of a person by the way he treats people who cannot help him."

Now go ponder.......
